  • Retired Fire Inspector Kenneth (Kenny) Wolf

    Wolf, Kenneth William Phoenix - August 6, 2010. Ken, son of Karl (Deceased) and Myrna L. Wolf was born in El Paso, Texas on July 27, 1952. He was preceeded in death by his Grandparents, Julis O. & Margaret Wolf, William D. (Papoo) & Elizabeth (Mamoo) Richards. A devoted firefighter, Ken joined the E.P.F.D. in 1971 ending a dedicated career of 25 years as an Officer of Code Enforcement in the Fire Marshall Division. Whether hosting family and friends as an accomplished cook, bowling with the guys, or as chaperon for Pac-10 teams in the Sun Bowl, Ken's fervor and vitality were contagious. A lifelong proponent of fire safety and awareness, he enjoyed his retirement on Phoenix's golf courses and coaching for his granddaughter's volley ball team. Ken is survived by his two children, Jennipher M. Sanchez (Ralph) of Westminster, CO, and J. Karl of Phoenix, Az, his mother, sister Karla Niemi (Ralph), brother Kris of Hamilton, MT, sister Anna of San Carlos, CA, several aunts & uncle, nieces and nephews, and is the beloved Grandpa to Lexy, Bubba, & Ali ~ "Lobo, we will miss your laugh!" Friends are invited to attend memorial services with the family Saturday August 21st, 4 pm at Cielo Vista Church, 3585 N. Lee Trevino Drive El Paso, Tx. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to The Liver Foundation or El Paso Fire/Police Pension Fund.
